2021 Hoosier Chapter Scholarships Opportunities Available

The 2021 Scholarship Applications are available now! The Chapter is excited to again offer two scholarship categories for eligible students. Applications will be available on this site through the submittal deadline of April 30th. Guidelines and requirements can be found in the scholarship packets. Hoosier SWANA has been able to award over $45,000 in scholarship funds over the past eight years. These opportunities should be at the top of your list to explore!

High School Seniors: This scholarship is for current high school seniors that will be pursuing post-secondary education. All applicants should read the qualifications carefully and submit completed applications, with all required materials, by April 30th.

Post-Secondary Students: This scholarship is for students that are currently pursuing post-secondary education. All applicants should read the qualifications carefully and submit completed applications, with all required materials, by April 30th.

2021 National SWANA Scholarships Opportunities Available

National SWANA has released several scholarship opportunities for eligible applicants. All completed applications are due to the Hoosier SWANA Scholarship Committee by May 1st. The Chapter Scholarship Committee will review applications and make nominations to National for evaluation. Please read application criteria carefully.

2021 Grant Flint International Scholarship Awards Program Category I Scholarship: This scholarship is for the current high school senior. There will be three $5,000 scholarship awarded in 2021.

 

2021 Grant Flint International Scholarship Awards Program Category II Scholarship: This opportunity is for college or university students that will be a junior or senior studying fields in solid waste management. Scholarships can be up to $5,000.

 

2021 Robert P. Stearns/SCS Engineers Scholarship: Scholarship for students entering or already enrolled in graduate programs pursuing a degree in environmental studies, environmental science, engineering or other applicable field. Scholarships can be up to $5,000.
