IDEM recently posted a Second Notice of Comment Period and Draft Rule in the Indiana Register. This rulemaking proposes changes to the waste tire management rules (329 IAC 15). The draft rule has new or updated requirements for registered waste tire processors, storage facilities, and transporters. In addition, IDEM proposes NEW requirements for tire amnesty programs managed by Indiana’s Solid Waste Management Districts. There are instructions in the notice if you wish to provide comments to IDEM.
The deadline for comments is May 10, 2019.
